Today we made some games with quizlet.

Then we got into two groups and we made these games:

We had a lot of fun.

If you want to make your own game, go to www.quizlet.com. Then use your email address and password to register. Then choose your favourite story. Finally, choose 10 words or expressions from the story to make the cards of the game.

Summer ELT Rap

On the first day of this school year we rapped about ... the summer. Just because it still felt like summer and we like it so much anyway. This is what we came up with after 50 minutes on our first lesson.

Here are five of the videos we recorded right before Christmas. I decided not to put on the first three, because that was the part where you said you needed to make them better.

I am very proud of you that you evaluated your own performance with so much insight. Well-done! You were also great at not giving up and trying to do it better every time. You were very patient with each other and with yourselves. THAT was great to see :-)

Alább találtok öt videót azok közül, amiket karácsony előtt vettünk fel. Az első hármat nem tettem fel, mert azt mondtátok, hogy jobbat is tudtok készíteni.

Nagyon büszke vagyok arra, ahogy saját előadásotokat értékeltétek, egyre több rálátással. Annak is nagyon örülök, hogy nem adtátok fel, és minden egyes felvételnél jobban akartátok csinálni. Amit pedig ugyancsak csodálatos volt látni, hogy mennyire türelmesek voltatok egymással és magatokkal szemben is. Ez nagyon fontos!

Új játékok a sulis angolhoz - New games for school English

Kedves Gyerekek!

Egy néhányan közületek a suliban is tanultok angolul, és segítséget kértetek a gyakorláshoz. Az alább felsorolt játékok, ebben sokat fognak segíteni, de fontos, hogy CSAK abban a sorrendben játsszátok, ahogy leírom.

1. Ezen az oldalon vannak memória játékok, de CSAK a 'Without Words' oszlopban levőkkel gyakoroljatok. Nem szabad a 'With Words' oszlopban levőkkel játszani amíg hallás után meg nem értitek a szavakat.

Ez egy másik oldal, ahol jó kis memória játékok vannak. Itt CSAK a 'Pairs Game' oszlopban levő játékokat válasszátok. Ne játsszátok a 'Picture Game' vagy a 'Word tank,' oszlopokban levő jétékokkal, amíg nem értitek hallás után a szavakat. Ezek a játékok még túlságosan nehezek lennének most.

2. Mielőtt az alábbi játékokkal gyakorolnátok, kérdezzetek meg engem, hogy szabad-e. Ez NAGYON fontos :-)).

Ha már hallás után felismeritek a szavakat, és szeretnétek látni az írott szóképet is, akkor ezen az oldalon lehet a 'With Words' oszlopban levő játékokkal is játszani.

Ezen az oldalon is gyakorolhattok az írott szóképekkel, de itt CSAK a 'Picture Game' oszlopban levő játékokon keresztül. NE játsszatok a 'Word Tank' oszlopban levő játékokkal, mert ezek most még nagyon nehezek lennének.

De ne felejtsetek el, először engem megkérdezni, hogy "Erika, szabad a második lépésben leírt játékokkal gyakorolni?"

Hello Children,

Some of you asked me for more games to help you practice your English for the lessons you have at school. So in this post I will list a few sites where you can play such games.

It is important that you do them in the following order:

1. First practise the words through these memory games Without Words.

Do not play the games With Words until you are sure you know the meaning of all the words.

Another site where you can play memory is this one. Here play only the Pairs Game. Do not play the Picture Game or the Word tank, until you recognise the meaning of the words through the memory game by listening to them. These would be far too difficult for you now.

2. Before you start playing these games, ask me if you are ready for this. This is VERY important :-))).

If you recognise the meaning of the words by hearing them, and you would like to see the word-picture too, you can practice through these games With Words.

You can also practice using the word-pictures here. On this site use only the Picture Game. Do not play the Word Tank. This is far too difficult for you.

So, don't forget to ask me first, before you go onto the games in Step 2!
